Two-hour transfers on the TTC
With PRESTO you get two hours to travel in any direction on the TTC with each payment. The first time you tap on TTC to take a trip, your transfer window will be applied to your card automatically. Each time you switch directions, just tap again. As long as you are within your two-hour window you won’t be charged another fare.

TTC Fare Capping
Starting September 1, 2026, TTC customers who pay with a physical PRESTO card, PRESTO in mobile wallet, Interac® Debit card or credit card will automatically benefit from monthly fare capping. After 47 paid trips with the same payment method in a calendar month, you won’t be charged for TTC trips for the rest of the month.
