The easiest way to pay – just tap your physical or digital credit card or Interac debit card.
Get a PRESTO card in your Apple Wallet, load funds and tap your Apple device and get to the match.

Tap On
Tap your payment method on the PRESTO device when you get to a station, before you board a light-rail vehicle or when you get on a bus. Tap the same payment method each time you transfer. Check our Fares page for fare and discount information.

Tap the same payment method each time you transfer.
Whether you’re using a physical or digital PRESTO card or tapping your credit or Interac® Debit card to pay your fare, you can transfer between transit agencies across the region for free or at a discount.

Tap Off (GO/UPE)
GO Transit and UP Express charge based on how far you travel. Make sure to tap off when your trip is done so you are charged the correct fare.

Check PRESTO Card Balance
If you’re using a physical or digital PRESTO card, check your balance through the website or app. You can check your balance either as a guest (with your card number) or through your PRESTO account.
