Activate Your Card for PRESTO

Tap "Activate" before boarding, then scan the E-Tticket on a PRESTO device using the barcode reader.

Add Funds/Transit Pass

Instantly load funds or transit passes to your PRESTO card through your PRESTO account. You can also load as a guest using your PRESTO card number. Alternatively, use the PRESTO app or load in person at a PRESTO customer service outlet.

Buy and register a PRESTO Card

Buy a physical PRESTO card for $4 in person at PRESTO vending machines at TTC, GO and UP Express stations or at a customer service outlet.

You can also buy a card online through mail (arrives in 7-10 business days).

PRESTO cards with a braille indicator are available at customer service outlets and online.

Add to Apple Wallet

Each PRESTO card in Apple Wallet can only be associated to one Apple ID. It can only be active on one Apple device at a time (iPhone or Apple Watch), and you can only move it between devices a limited number of times.

We’ve transformed the PRESTO system to offer real-time loads and information, and deliver more flexibility, convenience and seamless journeys

Yes! Your PRESTO account is still there, with all your cards, details and contracts You can use the same email address and password to sign in, but you will need to set up two-step verification with your phone number to help keep your account secure

For most of the things you do with your PRESTO card and account, it will work almost the same The biggest difference is that you no longer need to tap your PRESTO card to pick up a load or finalize a change or a contract With the new website, your account will look a bit different, and some features may be located in slightly different places, but the most common PRESTO features still work the same If you use PRESTO E-Tickets, you’ll need a PRESTO account and the PRESTO app to continue using E-Tickets to take transit
